In a public health climate where, 68 percent of adults in the U.S. are overweight and millions have diabetes, the need for a lifestyle change is greater than it has ever been. These classes offer a chance to discover which foods are optimal for weight management, learn about various health topics including blood pressure and digestion. Weekly Topics include: Power of Your Plate, Let’s Go, Getting in Gear, Breaking the Food Seduction, Keys for Natural Appetite Control, Digestive Health and High Blood Pressure. Food for Life is a program of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.

Class format: welcome & overview, video lesson, class discussion, cooking demonstration, and Q&A.
